Dermal Fillers

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring acid in your skin. It gives our skin volume and keeps it hydrated. With age, our body slows its production of hyaluronic acid and we progressively lose fat, bone, and muscle. These structural changes result in the facial signs of aging: thinning of skin, laxity, volume loss, lines, texturization, and pigment. The majority of dermal fillers are formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA) and each structured uniquely to mimic the tissues we are aimed at replenishing. Their function is to volumize, support, contour, and soften areas of desired rejuvenation.

Fillers can create subtle or dramatic difference based on personal preference and aesthetic goals. The type and amount of filler required to reach your desired result is based on a number of factors, therefore, a consultation is recommended prior to treatment.
