PRP / PRF

What Is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)/Plate Rich Fibrinogen (PRF)

PRP/PRF consists of two elements: plasma (the liquid portion of blood), and platelets (a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body). Platelets are well-known for their growth factors that instigate cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration. We use this function to treat areas where volume loss, texturization, and laxity is present. PRP/PRF injections can also be effective in stimulating and preserving hair growth, where thinning or male pattern baldness is occurring.

Popular areas for treatment are under eyes, face, acne scars, neck/décolleté, hairline, and hands. PRP/PRF is a rejuvenation treatment that requires several sessions to achieve desired results. It is also an effective collaborative treatment, to add to other services, and functions well as a preventative intervention for skin health maintenance.
